{"id":334,"date":"2019-07-24T16:33:28","date_gmt":"2019-07-24T20:33:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aneveningofmurder.com\/?page_id=334"},"modified":"2019-07-24T22:39:43","modified_gmt":"2019-07-25T02:39:43","slug":"how-to-play","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.aneveningofmurder.com\/?page_id=334","title":{"rendered":"How To Play"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">HOW TO PLAY GUIDELINES<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>You are all murder suspects.\u00a0 Each of you should exchange facts, suspicions, and accusations in a conversational manner with the others.<\/p>\n<p>The object of <strong>AN EVENING OF MURDER<\/strong> is to determine who the murderer is.\u00a0 (<strong>The murderer will know from the beginning who he or she is<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Only the murderer can lie.\u00a0 <\/strong>The other suspects must reveal all facts <strong>truthfully<\/strong> when asked.<\/p>\n<p>You may be evasive and embellish your character beyond the background when confronted with facts that cast suspicion upon you.\u00a0 You can establish your innocence by trying to prove someone else\u2019s guilt.\u00a0 It is important you stay in character throughout.<\/p>\n<p>The party progresses through Four Scenes.\u00a0 During each scene the characters will have new clues and information.\u00a0 There are two sections:\u00a0 The first section, \u201c<strong>REVEAL THIS INFORMATION WHEN CHALLENGED<\/strong>\u201d, you will reveal only when accused.\u00a0 The second part, \u201c<strong>REVEAL ALL OF THIS INFORMATION TO ACCUSE<\/strong>\u201d, you use to accuse another player.\u00a0 <strong>ALL THIS INFORMATION MUST BE REVEALED BEFORE ADVANCING TO THE NEXT SCENE.<\/strong>\u00a0 Characters should not progress to the next scene until instructed by the host.<\/p>\n<p>When the final scene is completed, each character will give their deduction of who the murderer is, how it was committed and why.<\/p>\n<p>The host finishes the party by reading the Author\u2019s Solution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember:<\/strong>\u00a0 All information must be revealed in each Scene before advancing to the next scene.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">CONSIGNES DE JEU<\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Vous \u00eates suspect\u00e9, au m\u00eame titre que les autres convives. Pendant le jeu, vous allez \u00e9changer faits, soup\u00e7ons, accusations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Le but d<strong>\u2019UNE SOIR\u00c9E DE MEURTRE<\/strong>\u00a0est de parvenir \u00e0 d\u00e9masquer le meurtrier ou la meurtri\u00e8re. Cette personne saura d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but du jeu qu\u2019elle\u00a0a commis le meurtre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Seule cette personne a le droit de mentir. Les autres suspects doivent r\u00e9v\u00e9ler, sans rien cacher, tous les faits qu\u2019ils connaissent (soit\u00a0spontan\u00e9ment, soit sur demande, suivant les instructions).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Il vous est permis de rester vague et d\u2019embellir votre personnage lorsqu\u2019on pr\u00e9sente des faits laissant planer le doute sur vous. Vous pouvez\u00a0\u00e9galement faire \u00e9clater votre innocence en essayant de prouver la culpabilit\u00e9 d\u2019un autre joueur ou d\u2019une autre joueuse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Il est cependant important que vous restiez fid\u00e8le \u00e0 votre personnage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">La soir\u00e9e se d\u00e9roule en <strong>QUATRE SC\u00c8NES.<\/strong> Pour chacune d\u2019elles, les personnages auront de nouveaux indices et de nouveaux renseignements.Il y\u00a0a deux sections. Pour la premi\u00e8re section<strong> \u201cINFORMATION \u00c0 NE R\u00c9V\u00c9LER QU\u2019\u00c0 LA DEMANDE DE&#8230;\u201d,<\/strong> vous ne d\u00e9voilez ces renseignements que si\u00a0vous \u00eates accus\u00e9(e) du crime. Pour la seconde section<strong> \u201cINFORMATION \u00c0 R\u00c9V\u00c9LER POUR ACCUSER &#8230;\u201d,<\/strong> vous l\u2019utilisez pour porter l\u2019accusation\u00a0contre un autre joueur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>IL EST ESSENTIEL QUE TOUS CES D\u00c9TAILS SOIENT R\u00c9V\u00c9L\u00c9S AVANT QUE L\u2019ON NE PASSE \u00c0 LA SC\u00c8NE SUIVANTE.<\/strong> Les personnages\u00a0attendront les instructions de l\u2019h\u00f4te ou de l\u2019h\u00f4tesse pour aborder la sc\u00e8ne suivante.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>REMARQUE IMPORTANTE :<\/strong> \u00c0 moins que le d\u00e9but de la sc\u00e8ne ne mentionne d\u2019autres consignes, les joueurs peuvent toujours commencer par\u00a0l\u2019accusation.
